Just a rant on labels. I'm sorry for being so mean :(

Right. I hate labelling.
I hate it, hate it. And at the moment, it appears people are labelling themselves. What??!!
I've always taken it as an insult when people have tried to categorise me, so why have you lot started calling YOURSELVES emos, chavs, goths, scene, punk, girly... whatever?
I don't get it. Each person should be different, and when I walk round town, or whatever, all I see is people who dress the same, act the same, listen to the same music, even paint their rooms the same way! Has the world gone mad?!
I hate this kind of thing with a passion.

Right, so you've got your basic emo. Black hair, lots of eye make up, listening to depressing music, boots that look like bricks, black skinny jeans, jesus cross pendant necklace, I think that's what most of us would class as an emo, right? Well, I'd love to know if you class yourself as an emo. How many of you are there in this world? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR SENSE OF INDIVIDUALITY? Isn't that what being emo is about anyway? God, honestly. All you lot seem to do is copy each other.

Basic chav. Tracksuit, probably Lacoste or something, white trainers, baseball cap, fag in mouth, kids at a young age, stupid accent, socks over trowsers? That's about right, I'm sure. I don't get what's so great about being a chav, so please, enlighten me. You all hang around with each other in big gangs and terrorise old women? Hmm... you're living the life.

I truly wish all this labelling would end. Maybe, like me, you've got black hair and wear wristbands, but you are not an emo. You are yourself. Maybe, you like wearing trackies because you do a lot of sport, or they're comfy. That dosen't make you a chav.

So, I ask you people, what do you get from being labelled, or labelling yourselves?
I know a lot of people do it. That is my question to you.

*Sorry, I needed to get that out of system - it's just a rant of disapproval, please don't slag me off, we all have these little outbursts*
