Ten reasons to start playing guitar

I love, love, love my guitars, and I seriously think there aren't enough guitarists in the world.

Okay, so here it is, ten reasons why you should start playing your parents old, battered acoustic that you found in the attic.

1) It opens up loads of new opportunities
2) It's great for singers, as it's one of the best ways of playing your own songs, and it's most people's favourite instrument.
3) It lets your creativity run wild, and it's a great way to express yourself
4) Guitarists get a lot of recognition from sites like YouTube.
5) It's awesome to be able to play guitar if you'd like to be/ are in a band.
6) You can look up how to play your favourite songs on the Internet.
7) It makes you more individual.
8) People tend to respect you more when you have a skill like playing guitar.
9) It's great fun!
10) It's great for passing the time

It is frustrating at first, I know. But once you get the hang of it, you can start to play any song you like, they even have tabs for dance/pop songs, it's not just about rock! the only disadvantage is the tips of your fingers go a bit gross, and if you have weak nails, they might snap or flake off a bit, but nothing serious.

Trust me, playing guitar is so rewarding!
